Killer Soft Tacos
My cousin Shawn made these for our family. We can’t eat tacos any other way anymore.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 package taco seasoning mix
- 12 corn tortillas
- Shredded cheese
- Tomatoes (diced)
- Lettuce shredded
- Vegetable oil
- Sour cream
Ground beef, drain grease. Mix with season mix and water according to package directions.
Heat oil in a flying pan (enough to cover bottom of pan). Place 2 Tablespoons of the beef taco meat in center of each tortilla. Place cheese on top of meat fold tortilla in half and fry in oil until brown, turn over and fry until brown. Place on plate with paper towels to drain.
Serve with toppings: lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole on the side. Open tacos to add topings (cheese is melted).

Yummo. We enjoy tacos at my house because they are a quick and easy meal. Check out my post on Dry Mixes. I posted it in January as a Works for me Wednesday. Dry mixes save money at the grocery counter because they are made with ingredients you usually have on hand. Also, store bought mixes usually have MSG which is a flavor enhancer that is linked to headaches.
Great post.
