I was extremely interested in this because we also have a Great Pyr AND a miniature horse. Our dog Beau is a 4 yr old male, and our newest additon, a Christmas gift for my kids is Smudge, the 3 yr old mini horse. Beau thought Smudge was another big puppy when he first came to live with us, but Smudge set him straight very quickly. Now they get along fine, unless Smudge is trying to eat. We love both of them, as well as our two cats, two birds, two chickens, goldfish and mouse. We have 7 acres in Alabama. I have just recently discovered your blog and am having fun exploring!

Wow they get along so very well together.
And the puppy did not even show any signs of fear 
Do cats feel the same way over horses? I wonder.
