Menu Plan Monday
I love the idea for this meme. It’s so practical. We have to eat. Spending a few minutes making a plan organizes the week, helps you save time and money. MPM is hosted by I’m an Organizing Junkie. Visit her site for lots of great organizing ideas. If you would like to blog about your weekly menu go here.
I love to cook and experiment, but my hubby is a picky eater and does not like new things so my menus repeat a lot.
Monday: Jenni-o turkey ham, mac and cheese, Lima beans, cornbread
Tuesday: Shepherd’s pie
Wednesday: Leftovers or Pizza
Thursday: Cabbage and Kielbasa
Friday: Italian Chicken, Steamed veggies, Challa Bread
Saturday: Hebrew Hot dogs, sauerkraut, baked beans
Sunday: Crockpot Pot Roast

My family loves those Hebrew National hot dogs, too! Your menus look great. This is my first week to participate in the MPM, too (although I forgot to put that in my linky thing-ha), so come by my place if you get a chance.

Another MPM with kielbasa… hmm, and I happen to have one in the freezer… maybe next week. Looks like a tasty menu.
Thanks for sharing and have a great week.
My menu is up here.

Looks like a great menu and welcome to MPM! Shepherd’s Pie looks great and I’ll have to try your challah recipe one of these days . . . it is one of those things I’ve never made yet but want to try. (Plus I have a fantastic bread pudding recipe that calls for leftover challah, so I need to make some first, just so I have an excuse to make the recipe!
Have a great week!

I have to ask…..does the JennieO turkey ham taste close enough to ham that I could sneak it in and no one would know the difference? Or is it an acquired taste?

Stacy,
I’m glad you asked. The Jenno ham taste just like ham. Most people can’t tell the difference. I love it.
Ham has almost no flavor–except the smoke flavor which is easy to reproduce by smoking.
