Photo of a Soon-to-be Accident

This is the before photo of an soon-to-be accident. My son got creative. Do I allow him to keep his invention and wait for the inevitable? Or do I confiscate it before the disaster?

His name is David. David and the slingshot…sound familiar? I named him David because it means “beloved of God” not because it means “kill things by slinging stones.”

Yes, this is the same boy that taped the frog to the wall. Now he has a weapon. Beware!

Here is not so scary.

Boys….I love ‘em.

I absolutely love the determination on his face in the first picture. That is great.

That’s too funny. I’d say confiscate it and let him have it back to play with outside, but I pity all the squirrels and stray cats in the neighbourhood!

Great pictures! John Eldredge’s book “Wild At Heart” gave me such a deep appreciation for my husband and 4 sons and how God wired them to be warriors.
I went out and bought them a copy of Braveheart the next day, which happened to be Valentines day! With Gods help, the way they play and interact is helping them to develop their protective and leadership skills. Thanks for sharing the photos.
    God bless,
    Lori

LOL!!! Any empty soda cans he can target practice with? My son would LOVE that…only thing is…so would my little dear daughter.

Life is short. Let him pull the sling shot — but outside of course….and not directed at any animals of course…..or any siblings of course…….

Too funny. Posted awhile back about my son making a cross bow when he was younger. http://anapronaday.blogspot.com/2008/02/what-vintage-aprons-are-made-of-more.html
