When I had four children under five years old (1979), I found that WD-40 removed crayons marks from wall! It was a thrilling discovery!
A post on a message board gave 45 uses for WD-40. Some look suspicious, so I looked it up on Snopes (site to expose urban legends–the pace to go
to check out the outrageous email everyone sends you). Sure enough about 20 of the 45 uses were not recommended by WD-40 (like keeping flies off cows).

Yes! Every housewife needs a can of WD40 in her cupboard. Rubber backed bathroom mats are a killer. I blogged about WD40 earlier in the year too- how crazy is that?

That’s a GREAT list! I use wd-40 to clean the sticky residue left on my sewing machine by stablizers and it works great. I’ve also used it to clean stickers off of walls and windows.
