Fall Family Tradition: Pumpkin Patch

Our family looks forward to a pumpkin patch visit every year. This year we went early Cedar Rock Pumpkin Patch. We had a lot of fun.  We’ll probably go back after the leaves change.

Four Acre Corn Maze

We got lost for a good hour in the corn maze (means I could skip my daily walk when I got home).

Hay Ride

The hay rides crosses hundreds of beautiful acres with about 17 scarecrows (If I counted right). We caught several scarecrows dancing.

We Had a Swinging Good Time

We gotta get one of these air pogos!

Rock Skipping

I have super memories from my childhood skipping rocks for hours on end. It seems I lost my touch. Four skips was a major victory.

Next Stop Fainting Goat Festival

Every year in October, fainting goats are honored in Lewisburg, Tennessee (15 minutes from our home). The festival is centered on fainting and boar goats, but also has activities including music, an arts and crafts show, food vendors, and children’s activities.  Begins this Friday. We will be there!

    ROFL about the fainting goats. We have only seen those on TV and they crack us up.

    I have heard that there is a pumpkin patch around our area, in fact, I think I have been there as a child. I will have to see if I can find out where it is because your trip looked great! I know DS would enjoy it.
