Homeschooling Outside the Books
Not all learning comes in a book. Much of what our children learn comes from watching us (scary huh?).
Here is a collection of photos from the non-book learning-Charlotte Mason side of our homeschool.
Homeschool Photos Because Pictures Speak Louder than Words
You can’t look at these images and believe these children are missing out on anything in public school. Note all the socialization opportunities.
“When our eyes see our hands doing the work of our hearts, the circle of Creation is completed inside us, the doors of our souls fly open, and love steps forth to heal everything in sight.” –Michael Bridge

Great pics! You are such a great resource and inspiration- can’t wait to start homeschooling! But its wonderful to remember all the things we do around here normally in which the children learn b/c there is a lot!
Do you enjoy 4-H? I was thinking about getting my boys involved.
This is great! Always makes me feel better about our homeschool when I see others enjoying their education like we do! Thanks Robin!
Hi Robin,
I want to come to YOUR house and do school! Mine would love the animals and SPACE. I don’t know if the puppies or your kids are cuter! What breed are they, by the way? (the pups, not the boys.LOL)
Thanks for sharing your family pics with us.
God bless,
Dana
I loved this, Robin! The pictures and captions are perfect. I love how you put these activities in education-ese so we can explain to others that our children are getting everything they need.
Love, love, love, love, love, LOVE it!!!! How can anyone look at these photos and NOT want to homeschool! lol! And I REALLY like your quote on one of your scrapbook pages, “A creative mess is better than idle tidiness.” I need to remember that. lol! Thanks for sharing. What fun!!!
Dana,
They are shichon puppies. Half Shitzu half Brichon. We just got a third one (kind of babysitting for my mom) Come see video at http://bit.ly/2MZP9A
Love those pictures!! Really had to laugh out loud at the poor shaved dog though!!!
Great pictures. Homeschooling such a blessing. You captured it well in your photos and with your comments.
Blessings,

We absolutely love your blog and find most of your post’s to be precisely what I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write content in your case? I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on many of the subjects you write regarding here. Again, awesome web site!
