01. Adam to Abraham Introduction

The first eleven chapters describe Creation, the Fall, the Flood, and the origin of nations. Genesis 12-50 is the ancestral story. The focus of this unit study is on Genesis 1-12 revealing Jesus in Genesis!

Introduction to the Adam to Abraham Study Lesson Objectives

  • Know the major sections into which the Bible is organized as a key to understanding the Bible.
  • Have a firm foundation for this unit study through familiarity with Genesis chapters 1–11. The fall of man (1-3), his subsequent wickedness and judgment in the flood (6-9) and his universal rebel-lion as evidenced at the Tower of Babel (10-11:9), Abraham’s call after the dispersion of the nations in 11:1-10.
  • Know the major events and key people from Genesis chapters 1–11, and use this information to create a Time Line Book which will be added to throughout this unit study.

    Hi Robin, I am curious if you actually own the Word Wise books, or were you just posting the link to use their *overview* as a reference, not necessarily recommending the actual books themselves?
