Exploring Light and Color -White light is made up of seven color groups. An object appears to be a certain color because it reflects that color and absorbs all others.
Primary Colors of Light – The primary colors of light are red, green and blue. When mixed in different ways, the primary colors can form all the colors of light. A TV screen contains tiny dots of all three of these colors, which enables people to see a color picture on the screen.
Light and Color Technologies - Incandescent light, fluorescent light and laser light are three types of man-made light that have various practical applications.
Light and Senses of Sight – Light enters the human eye through the cornea that bends it toward the lens, then it travels to the retina where an inverted image strikes the rods and cones. The rods and cones send electrical impulses to the brain by way of the optic nerve.
